Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles on designated routes across the Southeast
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs
- Load/unload cargo efficiently with proper handling techniques
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Manage time-sensitive deliveries while maintaining flexible scheduling
- Perform minor maintenance checks and report mechanical issues promptly
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, and weekends
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Pass background check and random drug screenings
- Excellent time management and customer service skills
