Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for local and regional routes
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules while maintaining flexible start/end times
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service at delivery points
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team and clients
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to work flexible hours (early mornings/weekends as needed)
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Familiarity with Philadelphia area routes and traffic patterns
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor troubleshooting
