Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for multi-stop delivery routes throughout San Jose and surrounding Bay Area counties
- Maintain meticulous delivery logs and electronic logging compliance (ELD)
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic preventative maintenance checks
- Coordinate with warehouse staff for efficient loading/unloading procedures
- Build strong client relationships through professional communication and on-time deliveries
- Adapt to changing schedules and route modifications based on traffic and delivery priorities
- Uphold strict safety protocols and company policies at all times
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and operate loading equipment
- Proficient with electronic logging devices (ELD) and route navigation systems
- Strong knowledge of Bay Area roadways and delivery regulations
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Previous experience with refrigerated or hazmat shipments preferred
