Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A or B) in a safe and efficient manner.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle compliance and safety.
- Load and unload cargo in a professional manner, adhering to all weight and balance regulations.
- Maintain accurate driver logs (ELD) and comply with all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service while delivering freight on time and in perfect condition.
- Uphold a clean driving record and a professional image at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B.
- Current Medical Card (DOT compliant).
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the past 3-5 years.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Basic math skills for weight calculation and toll payments.
- Reliable transportation to and from the terminal.
