Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks safely and efficiently to deliver cargo to designated locations.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload freight, ensuring proper securing and handling of goods.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and adhere to all DOT regulations and company policies.
- Communicate clearly with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and potential delays.
- Keep the vehicle clean and organized, and perform minor maintenance checks.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Physical) and valid DOT drug screen.
- Clean driving record with no major violations or DUIs within the last 5 years.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and attention to detail.
