Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A vehicles in a timely and efficient manner.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently while adhering to strict safety standards and weight limits.
- Navigate complex routes using GPS and company software to ensure on-time delivery.
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation, including bills of lading and logbooks.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to resolve any delivery issues.
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal traffic laws.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to work rotating night shifts (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Basic mechanical knowledge to handle minor vehicle issues on the road.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical and background check.
