Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A) safely and efficiently on designated routes.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections (DVIR).
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securement and weight distribution.
- Maintain accurate daily logs (ELD) and adhere to Hours of Service regulations.
- Uphold strict safety standards and company policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding cargo status.
- Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the truck cab and trailer.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A.
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR) and a satisfactory background check.
- Must be available to work rotating night shifts (10:00 PM - 10:00 AM).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws, road conditions, and cargo handling.
