Responsibilities
- Operate commercial Class A trucks to transport freight safely and efficiently on time.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Load and unload cargo at distribution centers and customer sites.
- Maintain accurate records, including electronic logs (ELD) and delivery receipts.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, and company policies.
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with dispatch and receivers.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (Medical Card).
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the last 3-5 years.
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience.
- Ability to work rotating night shifts (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Strong problem-solving skills and a safety-first mindset.
