Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and vans in a safe, legal, and efficient manner.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Load and unload cargo securely, adhering to weight distribution and safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate records of delivery times, mileage, and vehicle condition.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding route changes or delays.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or Class B.
- Must possess a clean driving record (no DUI, reckless driving, or major violations in the last 3-5 years).
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT Medical Card).
- Experience in long-haul or local delivery is preferred but not mandatory for immediate hires.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
