Responsibilities
- Operate commercial delivery vehicles (Class A or B) safely and efficiently to designated locations in the Atlanta metro area.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring proper weight distribution and safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, bills of lading, and mileage records.
- Adhere to strict traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
- Provide exceptional customer service at delivery points, including proper handling of goods and signage.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding route changes or delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driverβs License (CDL) with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to work night shifts and occasional early mornings.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic math skills for inventory and mileage calculations.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
