Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A trucks and trailers to deliver freight on schedule.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Load and unload cargo securely using proper handling techniques and equipment.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and compliance with DOT hours of service (HOS).
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery updates and route changes.
- Keep the truck cabin and cargo area clean and organized at all times.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety procedures.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable driving experience.
- Current DOT Medical Card and DOT physical on file.
- Clean driving record with no more than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and traffic laws.
- U.S. Citizenship or valid work authorization required.
