Responsibilities
- Operate Class A commercial vehicles safely and efficiently across the Colorado region.
- Ensure strict adherence to all Department of Transportation (DOT) and company safety regulations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, documenting any defects or damage.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securing and handling of goods.
- Maintain accurate logs and records in compliance with Hours of Service (HOS) regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and issues.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A.
- Clean driving record with no serious traffic violations within the last 3-5 years.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience in a commercial environment.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Basic knowledge of truck maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to meet strict delivery deadlines.
