Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles, including tractor-trailers and box trucks, during night hours.
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts or hand jacks, ensuring weight distribution is correct.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety policies.
- Navigate efficiently using GPS and map systems to meet delivery schedules.
- Provide exceptional customer service at delivery points.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable driving experience.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical examination.
- Must be available to work nights (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM) on a consistent basis.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and road safety regulations.
- Basic mechanical aptitude for minor vehicle troubleshooting.
