Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial motor vehicles (CMVs) over various road conditions.
- Load and unload freight accurately and efficiently using proper equipment.
- Ensure all cargo is secured according to FMCSA safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate logs and adhere to all DOT regulations and company policies.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to ensure smooth deliveries.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable OTR experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws, safety regulations, and cargo handling.
- Must be 21 years of age or older as per federal law.
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays as needed.
