Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 8 tractor-trailers on local/regional routes within 300-mile radius
- Load/unload freight using forklifts and pallet jacks (training provided)
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and delivery schedules
- Ensure compliance with DOT/FMCSA regulations and company safety policies
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery and pickup operations
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of California roadways and hazmat regulations (plus certification)
