Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A CDL) to transport cargo safely and efficiently.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
- Maintain accurate records using Electronic Logging Devices (ELD) and daily logs.
- Adhere strictly to all DOT regulations, FMCSA rules, and company safety policies.
- Deliver freight on time while maintaining a professional demeanor with customers.
- Report mechanical issues and accidents immediately to management.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean MVR record.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Strong time management skills and ability to meet strict delivery schedules.
- Basic computer literacy for logging and paperwork.
