Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles on regional routes within Northern California
- Perform daily pre-trip inspections and ensure compliance with DOT regulations
- Load/unload cargo using proper equipment and securement techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging device records
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status
- Adapt to changing schedules and route conditions while maintaining safety standards
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with California roadways and delivery protocols
- Strong communication and time-management skills
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor roadside repairs
- Flexibility to work occasional weekends and early mornings
