Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers within Atlanta metro area
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and DOT compliance documentation
- Inspect vehicles before/after routes ensuring safety standards
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route optimization
- Handle secure freight with proper loading/unloading procedures
- Communicate professionally with clients and team members
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules and time management
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of Atlanta metro area routes
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs occasionally
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Flexibility for early morning/weekend shifts
- DOT compliance certification preferred
