Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 8 tractor-trailers for local and regional routes within 250 miles of Fort Worth
- Perform pre-trip inspections, secure cargo, and maintain accurate delivery logs
- Adhere to HOS regulations and maintain flawless safety records
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Operate advanced telematics systems for route optimization and real-time tracking
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading operations
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD) and basic navigation technology
- Strong work ethic and commitment to safety excellence
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Flexibility for early morning starts and occasional weekend shifts
