Job Overview
As a professional truck driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across the United States. We offer various driving positions including OTR (Over the Road) and Regional routes to suit your lifestyle.
Responsibilities
- Operate commercial tractor-trailers in a safe and compliant manner according to Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and identify any potential issues.
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation, including electronic logging devices (ELD).
- Load and unload cargo securely using proper equipment.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any delays.
- Adhere to all company policies and safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Clear driving record with no major violations in the past 3-5 years (depending on state regulations).
- Ability to pass a DOT physical examination.
- Strong work ethic and commitment to safety.
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screen.
- Basic English language proficiency for communication.
