Responsibilities
- Operate commercial Class A or B vehicles in a safe and professional manner.
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual handling equipment.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, delivery receipts, and paperwork.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to resolve issues efficiently.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or B with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) drug screen and background check.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-focused attitude.
- Physical ability to lift and move packages up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
