Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks for timely deliveries within Riverside County and surrounding areas
- Manage daily logistics including route optimization, scheduling, and client communications
- Maintain accurate delivery records, mileage logs, and expense documentation
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic preventative maintenance on assigned equipment
- Uphold strict safety standards and compliance with DOT regulations
- Build and maintain strong relationships with dispatch team and clients
- Coordinate with warehouse staff for efficient loading/unloading procedures
Qualifications
- Valid Class C driver's license with clean MVR (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience with box trucks or similar vehicles
- Proof of commercial auto insurance and current DOT medical certification
- Reliable box truck (26' or larger) in good mechanical condition
- Strong time management and organizational skills for independent operation
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor roadside repairs
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally during loading/unloading
- Proficient with smartphone apps for navigation and communication
