Responsibilities
- Operate commercial box trucks (10-26 ft) to transport freight to designated destinations in the Portland metro area and surrounding regions.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload freight carefully to prevent damage, utilizing proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery logs.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding pickup and delivery schedules.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable experience in commercial box truck driving or similar operations.
- Must possess a current DOT medical card and proof of liability insurance.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong customer service skills and a professional demeanor.
