Responsibilities
- Operate a 16'-24' box truck to deliver freight safely and on time.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Load and unload cargo using proper lifting and equipment techniques.
- Ensure all delivery paperwork and invoices are accurate and signed.
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance while on the road.
- Report any vehicle maintenance issues immediately.
Qualifications
- No prior truck driving experience required (training provided).
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class B (if applicable) or valid state driver’s license.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and drug screen.
- Strong customer service skills and professional communication.
- Willingness to travel within the local St. Petersburg area and surrounding regions.
