Responsibilities
- Operate a 26ft box truck to deliver freight to designated locations within the Jacksonville area and surrounding regions.
- Ensure safe loading, securement, and unloading of cargo to prevent damage.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging devices (ELD) and delivery paperwork.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety.
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading and unloading processes.
- Uphold strict adherence to FMCSA regulations and company safety policies.
Qualifications
- Must own and maintain a 26ft box truck (no trailers).
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Must possess a current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC).
- Clean driving record with no more than two (2) moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Must have valid DOT authority (MC#/DOT) and insurance.
- Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule effectively.
