Job Overview
As an Amazon DSP Driver, you will be the face of our delivery service, ensuring our customers receive their packages safely and on time. You will work closely with a supportive team to maintain high standards of operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Load and unload packages efficiently, ensuring items are secure and protected during transit.
- Interact professionally with customers, resolving delivery issues and ensuring satisfaction.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks to ensure the vehicle is road-ready.
- Maintain a clean and organized cab and cargo area at all times.
- Follow route maps and delivery instructions to optimize efficiency.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid Driver’s License (CDL-A is a plus, but not required for entry-level positions).
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
- Good manual dexterity to lift and move packages (up to 50 lbs).
- Reliable transportation to and from the delivery depot.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and stand for extended periods.
- Basic smartphone proficiency for navigation and reporting.
