Responsibilities
- Operate box trucks safely on dedicated regional routes
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic maintenance
- Ensure on-time delivery with optimal route planning
- Provide excellent customer service at delivery points
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Manage freight loading/unloading efficiently
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years box truck experience
- Own or willing to acquire box truck (2005+ model)
- Proof of commercial liability insurance ($1M+)
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of Baton Rouge metro area
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
