Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Box Truck (40ft-53ft) to transport freight on assigned routes.
- Load and unload cargo using proper equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks).
- Ensure cargo is secured properly using straps, chains, and bars.
- Maintain accurate digital logs (EOBR) and adhere to all DOT and company safety regulations.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and cargo area.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding load status and delivery times.
- Deliver exceptional customer service at every stop.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Must possess a clean driving record and acceptable MVR.
- Previous experience in local or regional trucking is preferred.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 100 lbs) repeatedly.
- Professional attitude and strong customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.
