Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks for local and regional freight deliveries
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and electronic logs
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and preventative maintenance
- Optimize routes for timely delivery while adhering to traffic regulations
- Build strong client relationships through professional communication
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient load planning
- Ensure cargo security and proper handling at all times
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years box truck driving experience
- Proven ability to operate commercial vehicles safely
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor troubleshooting
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Must own or have reliable access to a box truck
- Commercial insurance coverage required
