Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to deliver freight on established routes
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and electronic logs (ELD)
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and basic preventative maintenance
- Collaborate with dispatch team for real-time route optimization
- Ensure compliance with DOT/FMCSA regulations and company safety policies
- Build strong client relationships through professional on-site interactions
- Adapt to changing delivery schedules and weather conditions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Excellent time management and route navigation skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting abilities
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
