Responsibilities
- Safely operate school buses on assigned routes and field trips.
- Ensure the safety of students while loading, unloading, and supervising.
- Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Maintain a clean and orderly bus interior.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and school personnel.
- Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations strictly.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Passenger (P) and School Bus (S) endorsements.
- Clean driving record and acceptable background check.
- Pass a drug screen and physical examination.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical.
- Patience, excellent communication skills, and a customer-service mindset.
- Ability to work early morning and afternoon hours.
