Responsibilities
- Safe and timely delivery of freight across Portland metro area and Pacific Northwest region
- Operate and maintain assigned box truck in compliance with DOT/FMCSA regulations
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and delivery scheduling
- Complete accurate delivery documentation and customer service interactions
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and preventive maintenance
- Optimize fuel efficiency and operational costs while meeting performance metrics
- Utilize GPS tracking systems for real-time route optimization
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable box truck or straight truck experience
- Strong knowledge of Portland metropolitan area and regional highways
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic mechanical aptitude for preventive maintenance
- Excellent time management and customer service skills
- Reliable smartphone with data connectivity
- Proof of commercial liability insurance ($1M minimum)
