Responsibilities
- Safely operate a 24-26 ft box truck for local and regional deliveries in Santa Ana and surrounding areas
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and electronic logging compliance
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance and ensure DOT compliance
- Optimize routes for on-time delivery while adhering to schedule
- Communicate proactively with dispatch team regarding shipment status
- Manage loading/unloading operations efficiently
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years box truck or commercial driving experience
- Proof of commercial auto insurance ($1M liability coverage)
- Reliable 24-26 ft box truck in excellent condition
- Strong knowledge of Southern California roadways and traffic patterns
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Basic smartphone proficiency for dispatch apps
- Entrepreneurial mindset with business management skills
