Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vans to transport packages to residential and business addresses throughout Durham and the surrounding areas.
- Load and unload packages from the vehicle, ensuring they are handled with care and are in perfect condition.
- Provide excellent customer service, greeting customers politely and managing delivery exceptions professionally.
- Maintain the cleanliness and general maintenance of the delivery vehicle to ensure a safe driving environment.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and Amazon's operational standards.
- Complete daily vehicle inspections and electronic logging duties (ELD) accurately.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no major violations or DUIs within the last 3-5 years).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Basic proficiency in English (reading, writing, and speaking).
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening.
