Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport Amazon packages to residential and commercial addresses
- Manage package scanning, loading/unloading, and route optimization using Amazon's technology
- Provide exceptional customer service during package deliveries and address delivery issues
- Maintain accurate delivery records and communicate with dispatch team regarding route status
- Conduct pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Adhere to Amazon safety protocols and local traffic regulations
Qualifications
- Valid Class C driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience or equivalent delivery background
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 pounds regularly and push/pull heavy carts
- Strong time management skills and ability to follow delivery routes efficiently
- Basic smartphone proficiency for using Amazon delivery apps
- Pass background check and drug screening as required by Amazon
- Flexible availability including early mornings, weekends, and holidays
