As a driver, you'll be responsible for safely delivering Amazon packages to customers in the Durham area. You'll work independently and manage your time efficiently to meet delivery deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport packages to customers
- Load and unload packages at the Amazon facility and customer locations
- Follow delivery routes and schedules provided by the DSP
- Provide excellent customer service during package delivery
- Maintain accurate delivery records and report any issues
- Ensure the delivery vehicle is clean and well-maintained
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 pounds
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Basic computer skills for using delivery tracking systems
- Previous delivery or driving experience preferred
- Must pass a background check and drug screening
