Responsibilities
- Operate box trucks for regional and long-haul freight delivery
- Manage loading/unloading operations with warehouse teams
- Maintain electronic logs (ELD) and DOT compliance documentation
- Coordinate with dispatch for optimal route planning and scheduling
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic maintenance
- Build client relationships through professional service delivery
- Submit accurate delivery reports and billing documentation
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Minimum 2 years box truck or flatbed experience
- Strong knowledge of Michigan/Ohio/Indiana road networks
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and operate loading equipment
- DOT medical certification and required endorsements
- Reliable personal box truck (26-48ft) in good condition
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
