Responsibilities
- Load and unload packages from delivery vans efficiently and safely.
- Safely deliver packages to customers' doorsteps or designated locations while adhering to safety guidelines.
- Utilize handheld scanning devices to track package status and ensure accuracy.
- Interact professionally with customers, handling questions or issues with a positive attitude.
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance checks and ensure the cleanliness of the delivery vehicle.
- Follow traffic laws and DSP route planning to optimize delivery efficiency.
- Complete daily paperwork and digital logs accurately.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License (Class C) with a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Good communication skills and a customer-focused mindset.
- Reliable access to a personal vehicle for pre/post work logistics (if applicable).
- Ability to work in various weather conditions.
- Basic proficiency with technology and handheld devices.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
