Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) to transport freight across designated routes
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations
- Plan efficient routes using GPS technology while adhering to delivery schedules
- Maintain accurate electronic logs and documentation (ELD compliance)
- Coordinate loading/unloading operations at distribution centers and customer sites
- Communicate proactively with dispatch regarding delays or route changes
- Represent the company professionally while interacting with clients
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with HazMat endorsement preferred
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with mountain driving and Western terrain
- Basic knowledge of cargo securement and weight distribution
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required
