Responsibilities
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Safely operate commercial vehicles over assigned routes to deliver products to customers in a timely manner.
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance while interacting with customers and clients.
- Document delivery receipts, manage paperwork accurately, and update delivery logs.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety protocols at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and logistics teams regarding route changes or delays.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Valid CDL Class A Driver's License (or ability to obtain one).
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no serious traffic violations.
- Willingness to undergo a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Basic math skills for inventory and cash handling (if applicable).
- Strong commitment to safety and customer service.
