Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Class A commercial truck on assigned local and regional routes.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload freight, ensuring cargo is secured and handled with care.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery paperwork.
- Interact professionally with customers at delivery points and resolve any service issues immediately.
- Keep the vehicle interior and exterior clean and organized at all times.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Medical Card).
- Pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Clean driving record with no major traffic violations within the last 3 years.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks associated with loading/unloading.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to navigate effectively in Southern California.
