Responsibilities
- Deliver Packages: Safely transport packages to customers' doorsteps in a timely and accurate manner.
- Vehicle Operation: Drive our modern delivery vans efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Customer Interaction: Interact professionally with customers, handle packages with care, and ensure a positive unboxing experience.
- Time Management: Manage your daily route efficiently to meet strict delivery targets and time windows.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and report any maintenance issues promptly.
- Technology Use: Utilize handheld devices to track packages, update delivery status, and communicate with the dispatch team.
- Organization: Maintain a clean and organized delivery van to ensure packages are secure and accessible.
Qualifications
- Valid License: Possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Background Check: Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and a friendly, customer-centric attitude.
- Experience: Previous driving experience is a plus, but we provide paid training for the right candidates.
- Computer Skills: Basic proficiency with handheld technology or mobile devices.
