Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks for material transport (gravel, asphalt, construction debris)
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain vehicle logs
- Load/unload materials at job sites using proper equipment protocols
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety standards
- Navigate Nashville metro area efficiently via GPS routing
- Communicate with dispatch team regarding delivery status
- Perform minor maintenance checks and report mechanical issues
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years dump truck experience
- Clean MVR with no DUIs in past 5 years
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in outdoor conditions
- Knowledge of Nashville metro routes and traffic patterns
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
