Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles on long-distance routes across designated regions
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and safety protocols at all times
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance checks
- Manage delivery documentation and communicate with dispatch efficiently
- Maintain accurate logs and comply with Hours of Service (HOS) requirements
- Represent our company professionally with customers and partners
- Collaborate with logistics team to optimize delivery schedules
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license (company-sponsored training available)
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong commitment to safety and punctuality
- Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to travel overnight for extended periods
- High school diploma or equivalent required
