Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A or B) in a safe and timely manner, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Load and unload cargo safely using proper tie-down techniques and equipment.
- Inspect the truck and trailer before, during, and after trips to ensure mechanical safety and compliance.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and delivery documents, including bills of lading and inspection reports.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery times and route changes.
- Uphold a professional image and represent the company positively at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B with a clean driving record (MVR check required).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable professional driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination and drug screening.
- Strong understanding of pre-trip and post-trip inspection procedures.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to meet strict delivery deadlines.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
