Responsibilities
- Safely transport freight using company-provided vehicles
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Inspect vehicles for compliance with safety standards
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient routing
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and local traffic laws
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL license
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening
- Strong knowledge of DC metro area routes
- Physical ability to load/unload freight (up to 50 lbs)
