Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A) safely and efficiently on designated OTR routes.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety standards.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring all freight is properly secured and documented.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and adhere to all DOT regulations.
- Navigate complex routes and traffic patterns to ensure timely deliveries.
- Interact professionally with customers, brokers, and dock personnel to resolve any delivery issues.
- Uphold the company's high standards for safety and customer service.
Qualifications
- Clean Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable OTR driving experience.
- Current DOT medical card and drug screen certification.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws, road conditions, and safety regulations.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check.
- Excellent time management and verbal communication skills.
