Responsibilities
- Safely operate school bus routes according to schedules and traffic laws
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain vehicle cleanliness
- Ensure student safety during boarding, transit, and departure
- Manage student behavior with professionalism and care
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, parents, and school staff
- Adhere to all DOT and school district regulations
Qualifications
- Valid Washington State driver's license
- Ability to obtain Class B CDL with passenger endorsement
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Excellent driving record (clean MVR)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Patience and commitment to student safety
