Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers for local/regional freight delivery
- Pre-trip/post-trip vehicle inspections and documentation
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and route optimization
- Collaborate with dispatch team for on-time pickups/deliveries
- Adhere to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Load/unload freight with proper equipment handling
- Resolve delivery exceptions with customer service focus
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Familiarity with Nashville metro area routes
- Pass federal background/drug screening
- Basic GPS and electronic logging device skills
- Flexible schedule including early mornings/weekends
