Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial freight vehicles to transport goods between distribution centers and client locations
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and electronic logging system records
- Coordinate with logistics team to optimize delivery routes and maintain on-time performance
- Secure cargo using proper loading/unloading techniques and safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of GPS navigation systems
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Flexibility for early morning start times
